The Huntington Family: September 2016

This month I took the kids to the Scera Pool! Last day of the year that it was opened and we had free tickets. Too bad it was pretty windy and cold! :( But the kids still had fun, Just didn't last as long as I had hoped! Afterwards we met up with Dan and Sharlee at the park for Pizza.

We stayed the night at the Claytons so that we could put our kids down to bed and have cafe rio and watch the BYU playoff game. The next day we went to church with them.

I went to Stan's court case a couple time this month. I feel so bad for Stan and his kids. This divorce is going much worse than it needs to be all because of Michelle and her lies! So far I have been able to go and support Stan and the kids at all of the court hearings! I hope to be able to go to them all. I will not go into details of what is going on, too much of sad depressing stuff.

Amber Briton and Coulsen came for a weekend! They were nice enough to watch Catherine while Chris and I took Caden to his Dr. appointment to get his procedure done on his pee pee!

I started coaching the Young Women Volleyball! Pretty fun, but super super basic!

The kids and I went down to Meadow just for a couple days. I wanted to take some pumpkin bread to Marla. She just had her three surgeries done and is not feeling well at all! I feel so bad for her. I was glad that I was able to go visit with her for a little bit. While I was down there I took Jenell's Family pictures. I felt so bad, she had a perfect vision in mind of what she wanted but the whole day it was raining. We decided to go with it anyway and just use umbrellas! It was a super quick session but I thought that they turned out surprisingly well!

I went to women's conference at Aunt Linda's where she had a delicious meal planned for us women. We had steak and a potato bar!! so yummy! Made women's conference even more special to be with that group of wonderful women!

I took Chris on a double date with Dan and Sharlee. That was one of the coolest random dates! Sharlee got us free tickets and we went to the Desert Start. It is a dinner and a comedy show! The theme for that night was Ghost Blusters! Definitely one that I wouldn't mind going to again!!

Caden:

This has defintely been a busy month for him!
Caden had his procedure done on his pee pee on the 9th. That was the sadest and the worst thing that Chris and I have ever had to wittness with our child! Caden did so well the entire time, I was really proud of him. The part that really got us was when they had to put Caden to sleep with the gas mask. It was crazy to be holding him and looking into eachothers arms and then in like two seconds he was out. The Dr. and nurse said to kiss him good bye before we left the room. That was awful, it felt like we were saying good bye forever! Luckily it didn't last long but for us it felt like eternity waiting out in the hall while they did it. Afterwards we took Caden out to eat and then took him to Chris's work to get a treat! He was such a brave big boy! But it is funny now that he had that done, when he pretends to be a Dr. on Catherine he will say "ok now I need to check your pee pee" haha oh boy!
Caden started preschool on the 6th!!! I can't believe he is already starting school!! He did so well! He was very excited to go but once it was time for me to leave he got a little sad but did just fine after I left. The first week of school he was sad each time but after that first week he has been doing Great! He loves it and can't wait to go! He has been picking up so much from school, it is great! He will come home and sing new songs almost every time! I love that he loves school. So he is in a jump start preschool with Miss Shauna who is in our ward. She lives about 2 blocks away and just has it in her basement. There are six kids in his class, about even on girls and boys. He has it every tuesday and thursday from 9am-11am! Quote from Amber "Coulsen found out that one of his best cousin friends is going to start pre-school soon, so we asked him what is the most important thing that he needs to know about pre-school. In all seriousness Coulsen said, "He needs to know that there's times he has to sit down." It was hard not to laugh! That is definitely the challenging part of pre-school for Coulsen but probably won't be for Caden."
Loves to ride his bike! The furthest he has ridden it is 2 miles! He did Awesome!!
Loves playing outside!
He is talking so good!
He loves to play with Catherine! and sometimes even likes to take care of her like get her water, put her in her high chair and try and get her food, etc.

Catherine:

18 month appointment: Weight: 22 lbs 12 oz. 52% Length: 32 in 57% Head circ: 46.3cm 51%
Catherine is so cute with family prayers. She insists on going on her knees now instead of having me hold her. But her going on her knees is laying on her tummy! haha
Catherine does really with nursery now. It is nice that Caden and Ada are in there too.
She is still my little buddy and I love her so much!
She likes to have me do her hair(most of the time), likes her nails done like mommy, and wants me to put makeup on her whenever I am doing my makeup.
She is talking SOO good!
She is still my little climber. She can climb in and out of her high chair without any help. Kind of scares me. I don't think she can get out of her crib....Caden usually gets her out! haha not exactly sure how they do that!
