The Huntington Family: October 2016

This month was full of activities. We are grateful to be able to start of the month with a wonderful General Conference where we got to listen to some Great talks from our leaders of our gospel! Some that stood out to me the most I took a picture of and posted below.

This month I started Coaching volleyball for the young woman. Also this month I have continued going to Stan's divorce process...what a mess that is! We are still looking for houses! And I am working hard for Chris putting together Amazon products! We also have spending lots of time with Charlotte and Ada, we love them!!

The weekend after General Conference I took the kids down to Meadow while Chris and Matt went camping and fishing. While I was in Meadow I did a lot of yard work for my parents while the kids played, we harvested half of our pumpkins and gave some to Marla and Stacee, and I took some pictures of Marla's family. I love going down there and letting my kids get to know their cousins more! Chris and Matt had a lot of fun and caught a ton of fish!! Good brotherly bonding time! :)

The following week Caden's preschool had a field trip to the fire station. That was a lot of fun! However, it was a bit overwhelming with tons of kids, Caden didn't like that too much. In situations like that he tends not to cooperate willingly. But Caden and Catherine both enjoyed watching the firemen put out the fire. They also loved getting fireman hats! I had a cool experience running in with one of the EMTs that came when Catherine was born. He was very excited to see Catherine. He said that he never gets to see what happens later to his patients! So we became friends on FB and I was able to send him some pictures from that night!

On the 15th we all meet up at Chuck A Roma and celebrated Grandma Elaine's Birthday! 86 Thats crazy! We love you grandma so much! The next day was her birthday where we went to Aunt Linda's for a open house birthday party!

Towards the end of the month we went down to Meadow again to harvest the rest of our pumpkins, take Kimberly's family pictures, take our own family pictures, and take pictures of the kid chair that Chris's work made. That is why this month there is A LOT of pictures!!

In the last week of October Caden school had a Halloween party where they all got to wear their costumes! Caden loved it and is loving school! However he for some reason did not like keeping his costume on at school, I guess it made him feel awkward.

The next day we went to the Lindon Halloween fest. That was pretty fun. At the fest their was a spook ally that we thought would be a kid friendly fun little thing to take the kids through....we were wrong...it was not kid friendly!! IT was legit and very scary! Our poor kids! When we got home from that we watched a Curious George halloween movie and had popcorn while eating some candy! :)

The day after that was Pumpkin Fest!! We Love pumpkin Fest!!! Aunt Linda is awesome and always has a good turn out! We had a gourd toss, gourd baseball, pumpkin piñata, and carved pumpkins!

For the Actual Halloween we went to Ben and Christine's house and took the kids trick or treating. Caden and Sam were soo excited! They were running from house to house so excited to knock on the door and say "trick or treat". It was funny how Caden would stay back by us adults and let Sam go knock and when he could tell that it was clear and good to go up and get candy then he would go! haha They had a blast. We then spent that night at their house.
