Whittington Reunion 2019

The Whittiers arrived at our house late June 26th around 1am. They stayed the next morning until 11 am ish until they had to go to the Whittier Reunion with Heaths family.  We made them a delicous breakfast! They came back for dinner and to sleep at our place. We went to Meadow on the 28th while they were at their reunion and was back by Sunday.  They were gone for a few more days and then we all met up on the 4th of July for a 4x4 grass volleyball tournament. That evening we joined the Whole Whittier family to go to a Rodeo at 8pm. We got the Whittiers to ourselves the 5th through the 8th. On the 5th we mostly just hung out to let the Whittiers relax. Anika and I went running together. Her and I took the kids to the park while Heath went to the Temple. We then went to eat at Cafe rio for lunch. That evening once Chris got home from lunch we took the kids to Nickelcade. We went to a splash pad on the 6th and we invited the Hendricks to join us for dinner. After dinner we got some ice cream at Nielsons and that evening got a babysitter to watch the kids at the church while the adults played volleyball. On Sunday the 7th we went to church and then celebrated Chris's birthday! We of coarse stayed up late playing games. We let the older kids sleep all together in the kids room...they had fun, just took them awhile to go to sleep. haha Monday morning before the Whittiers had to catch their flight we all went to Kneaders to have their famous french toast as our last hurrah! We loved every minute that we got to spend with the Whittiers! Until the next Whittington Reunion!

4th of July!

Getting ready for the 4th! Yay for matching Lulu outfits! 

Our 4x4 volleyball team. The boys subbed out with each other. We unfortunately did not make it too far into the tournament but it was fun doing what we love with each other. The kids were awesome!! We got a little rained on at one point but it made it very exciting haha. 

We then all came back to our house to get cleaned up, babies take naps, and get ready for the Rodeo. 

5th of July

Anika convinced me to go running with her while she was here. She is so amazing and inspires me to do better!

At the Park while Heath is at the Temple. These kids are having so much fun together. I wish they didn't live so far apart! Hopefully some day one of our kids will get married! So far we got good odds. haha

July 6th

At the splash pad. It was perfect for a hot day!

After dinner we went to Nielsons for a little ice cream treat.

July 7th

Happy Birthday Chris!

After church we just relaxed and played together. We invited Matt and Kaitlin over for dinner and cake. Anika helped make a beautiful cake! Best birthday Chris could have asked for having his best friends here with us! I loved having our kids reunite and meet for the first time...by the end they were all great friends! FRIENDS FOR LIFE!!!!

Next Morning Breakfast at Kneaders! So sad to have them leave! If only we lived closer!
