May 2019

This month was a pretty busy month. Every Saturday we were doing dance and soccer. We had end of school programs to go to as well. But we finally finished it all (school, dance, and soccer) up this month! I started working for LuLu&Roo by taking their product pictures from home and sending it to them. It is nice to be able to make some money on the side.  It all that craziness I was able to sneak away to BYU Woman's Conference with my sisters at the beginning of the month 2nd-4th. We celebrated mothers day on the 12th. I am so lucky to be a mother to these crazy kids that I love so much! On the 18th Catherine finished dance, and both Caden and Catherine finished their last game of soccer. That was a crazy day! As soon as Catherine was done with her dance we had to go straight to her soccer game. Right after her game Caden had his game. And Right after his game we left straight from there to go down to Meadow for Emma's Mission Farewell! I will miss that girl, but she will make an incredible missionary! Catherine's last day of school was on the 23rd, she participated in a cute little program. On the 25th we let the kids do a yard sale to earn some money. Caden really wants to buy a paw patrol tower. On the 28th Caden received his Falcon Leader in Me Award. Also that evening I took pictures for a wedding. To finish this crazy month, on the 30th was Caden's last day of school program!

Catherine's preschool went on a field trip to the fire station. She was a little nervous and unsure of it all. Sadly I couldn't be there because I was at woman's conference with my sisters. I think Catherine would have enjoyed it all a little more if I could have been there with her. Catherine went the Blaikley's house afterwards until Chris could pick her up.

At Woman's Conference with my sisters! I had so much fun just hanging out with my sisters. It was fun to have sister time, especially since I never really had that growing up. This was much needed. I also got to watch Mary throw a little bit at BYU invite.

Catherine's last dance before her recital. Crazy day, we had to rush straight from that performance to her soccer game. Catherine was being a little stinker about playing soccer though. She did finally end up going in to play for a little bit. She was probably just feeling tired and needing a nap. But she was by far the cutest little soccer player out there! haha

Love this cute girl of mine, even if I do have to spoon feed her at dinner time! haha

Happy Birthday Matt. Kids had fun making a cake for him and celebrating his birthday.

We have started our own upholstery business in the garage and Caden has been amazing at working. When he really wants to earn some money we will put him to work out there and he does a really good job. So proud of him and the hard worker he is. When he puts his mind to something he really works hard until it is done. He really wants to earn money for a paw patrol lookout tower. So we have been giving him jobs to do. Yesterday he worked on clipping and bagging tack strip. He did great!

McKay was being so cute in the car. He was copying everything that Caden was doing.

Caden and Catherine's Last soccer games. Much improvement this year and they both really enjoyed it! Catherine thankfully had a really good coach this year and Caden just really played hard in every game. Afterwards we celebrated by getting ice cream bars!

We finally had a Saturday to be able to do something different besides soccer and dance. We went to a local pond and fished and also had a really yummy picnic dinner with Matt and Kaitlin.

Happy Mother's Day! Caden surprised me with necklace that he made, and Chris made a really yummy stake dinner for me! I feel so loved!

Catherine trying on some of the LuLu&Roo clothes for Chris to see how they fit.
Here is a little bit about LuLu&Roo and who Chris is working for.
Lulu and Roo was started by two friends and mothers wanting to create stylish, yet comfortable clothing for their kids. Jori had 1 boy and Sydni had 1 girl (hence the name).  Both were pregnant with their second children (boys). With two new babies on the way sensible clothing options were a necessity. They wanted clothing that both boys and girls could run, play and nap in as well as be stylish outside the home. They set out to design clothing with comfort being most important while maintaining style and quality. With comfort as a top priority, soft high quality fabrics were chosen that would outlast busy children. They tailored hoodies with a special wide opening neck for ease of dressing on and off. The sweatpants and shorties were created with a fold over stretchy band without elastic for extra comfort around the belly. After designing the clothing and loving the convenience, not to mention all the compliments, they decided to open shop. Mom’s everywhere now can enjoy cute, comfy, clothing for their kids.
Just trying to help LuLu&Roo out by sending them some pictures of us in the clothes!

Catherine and McKay got to be in the LuLu&Roo photoshoot! They were so cute!

Catherine's Dance Recital. She did so good, even being in a huge auditorium that was pack full of people. I was so surprised. She loved dance, but I am relieved it is over. haha It was a lot of work! Thanks Bridger, Bri, and Jen for coming out to support her!

Some pictures from Preschool from the past couple months!

Last day of Preschool! Catherine will miss preschool and especially miss Miss Connie! She talks about her all the time and now says that she wants to be a mommy and a teacher just like miss Connie. I love it! Her last day was fun, they just performed some songs and acted out a couple stories. She is definitely going to miss her friends Janie and Blaikley!

Caden received the Falcon award!!! So proud of him and his determination to get this! He got this award because he knows his birthday, my phone number, and our address. Pretty impressive.
He also Graduated Kindergarten!!! Holy Cow! I can't believe my boy is going to be in full day first grade now! For his last day of Kindergarten they had a special Hollywood theme program. They sang lots of songs and received some rewards! Caden got the overall good student award! By boy is growing up so fast!

Finally able to play in the sprinklers and enjoy the warm weather outside!
