March 2019

March is starting to become a very busy month. Mostly birthdays but that is enough to keep me thinking about them a lot. I love to host the birthday parties and really plan them out, but it is a lot making the cake and planning out every little detail. So for this month at the beginning was our normal day to day stuff like school, finally going to the park with warmer weather, lots of hanging out with friends, and birthdays. After Catherine's birthday party we had the Claytons over for St. Patties day on a Monday. More details down below, but we love this little tradition with the Claytons. On Catherine's actual birthday is when Kathy and Kerry came to celebrate birthdays and attend march madness. We love when they come, they are so fun with the kids. While they were here we celebrated McKay's birthday and had Matt and Kaitlin here as well for a BBQ. All of his birthday and pictures are on a separate post. They had lots of fun going to March Madness. I think it was all of their first times. They were there most of Saturday. Sadly didn't get any pictures of that. To end the month Catherine went to Gracie's birthday party. Gracie only had Catherine there and one other friend there but it was so cute and fun for those girls. Christine is very good at making her kids feel special. They colored, made necklaces, presents, and cake. She made a very cute barbie cake. I think it is so fun how McKay shares the same birthday as Gracie, the Wright twins, and Isla...obviously different years except for Isla.

McKay has been teething....we think. Very miserable. Waking up several times during night. Hard to get him to settle down. Sometimes his binky won't even help. But he has been very snuggly.

Caden and Sam say that they are allergic to Princesses and start coughing whenever they talk or are near anything princess. haha

Catherine's Preschool pictures for the Month of March

McKay loves pulling everything out of my drawers and cupboards while I cook. He is a busy boy!

Poor teething boy! At least I get snuggles. 

He thinks it is so funny to let him roam around naked! haha

Can't believe this boy is walking!! The most I have seen him walk so far was when we were saying family prayers! I Really wanted to start cheering and clapping right in the middle of prayers haha and I was the only one that witnessed it too. 

Ben has been working at Chick-fil-A in the Orem mall for a while now and so we decided to go get some lunch there to say hi and play at the mall playground with their kids. Ben was so awesome and took the boys on a tour of the back where the kitchen is. Caden loved it! He has been playing pretend Chick-fil-A at home for the past two weeks. So it was fun for him to see pretend come to life!

Catherine has some wonderful friends that she plays so well with.

HAPPY ST. PATTIES DAY!

The leprechaun left foot prints on the toilet and went potty. He also wrote on the mirror and said nice try. haha They didn't catch him in their trap but it did leave them a bunch of gold. Catherine had a fun day at preschool celebrating St. Patricks day. That evening we had the Claytons over for our traditional Patties! With it being a Monday we had a little FHE lesson on "Treasures in you life". Kids drew pictures of things that were important to them in their lives and put it inside a treasure chest. We then hid the treasure and did a treasure hunt with clues along the way to find it. They loved it! This day was definitely a win in the parent book! haha

Blah!! It snowed again!! We are all so ready for Spring now!! 

I had to get a quick picture of this because it was so cute. McKay kept walking over to Chris and laying his head on him and saying "Aww". haha

Caden is doing so good at reading! I am so proud of him! It is really weird now to be texting and having him read what I am texting over my shoulder! 

We love seeing Grandma Elaine. We were worried for a bit there that she was nearing her end, but she pulled through this little funk and is still super perky and happy when the kids come over. She is amazing and has a very kind heart!

Catherine drew marker across her nose and she didn't believe us so we had to take a picture to show her proof! She thought it was funny! Crazy girl!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACIE!

I am so happy that these two girls are best friends. They are so cute playing dress-up, Dr., and babies together. Couldn't ask for a better family to be best friends with!
