February 2013

I started my new job as the Latch Key position.  It is fun being with the kids but I just always feel so tired! I will be getting paid $8.25, better than my last job at least. I will be working 3 hours after school. So my schedule will look like this: Wake up with Chris at 6:30 and do my Pilates for an hour, at 7:30 make Chris's lunch and take Chris to work, drive to the school, teach, after class I would go home and have lunch, take little nap, and then go back and work at the after school program.
Already I am dreading going to teach...there is just discipline and when I try to step in and send the kids out of the class that aren't supposed to be there then I become the evil one. Not sure if any of the kids like me. Oh well, I am tired and pregnant! But there are good moments that I have with JP. I am able to talk a little about my believes with him. I think it is helping. He told me that after the officer came to talk to us about alcohol and we talked together a little about it too, that he didn't have any while watching the Superbowl! I am loving my job, the kids are so cute, much better than 8th graders!

We do a lot of our FHE nights with a couple other couples that are in our ward and in our apartment complex. This last FHE we did an activity with Rachel and Andrew, and Jenny and Ryan. We have a great time with lots of laughing.

What the lake looks like with snow! SUPER COLD!

February 8th, Week 21: Found out that we are having a boy!!! We are both so excited! Chris and I had a bet before hand and I won! So grateful that everything is going well and that he is looking healthy! Chris is going to make a Wonderful daddy! After finding out the gender Chris had planned with Rachael and Jenny to have them decorate our apartment with whatever the gender was going to be after we found out! Such a wonderful and fun surprise to come home to! Rachel even invited us over for dinner to celebrate! It was fun, we stayed until about midnight just laughing and having fun! Rachel has been a huge help with getting me ready for this baby! I am sleeping a little better now that I have started using pillows to prop myself up to sleep on.  Kids at school are just starting to notice and ask if I am pregnant! They were shocked to find out that I am married, pregnant, while still being in college! JP told me that some of the boys were disappointed to find that out! haha

 Week 22

February 11th: We invited Ben and Christine Clayton over for dinner. They are another couple that just moved here from Provo for work. They have a little two month old baby boy that is super cute! They didn't stay long, mainly just for dinner which is what we wanted to help them out with anyway, because we know how miserable it was trying to have good meals while staying at the hotel. They will be moving into Deepwood as well! It will be fun having another couple here with a baby boy pretty close in age as our soon to be baby boy! It has been fun getting to know the Claytons more. We have helped them unpack and move in. We have gone over to just socialize, and watch BYU games!

February 14th: Happy Valentines Day! This year Chris and I decided to do something nice for our neighbors instead of going out to eat and buying gifts for each other. We ended up making cookies for our neighbors. One of the kids brought me a box of chocolate for valentines day...super cute!

Week 23 Feeling good but still not sleeping too well at nights! Rachel put on a girls activity of making a bunch of freezer meals! She is so great! I have really been wanting to fix up the room for the baby! I think I am definitely nesting! haha I want to create a western theme room for him. Jenell is going to make a blanket for him. Just found out that in July Chris has to go on a business trip for 3 weeks. Jenell might come and stay with me for at least 2 weeks!! She is the best!
