February 2022

February was a busy month trying to cram all of our last winter activities in as possible. We wanted to get them in before we went to Florida at the end of the month!

February 3rd: 100 days of school day! Catherine was the only one that had the desire to dress up! haha Maybe next year we will do a better job!

This is very rare when McKay asks if he can feed Jackson! But oh so cute! McKay is a good big brother to Jackson!

February 7th: McKay has been complaining about his ears hurting and we knew that he has lots of ear wax in them too far back for us to get. So I took him in to see if they could get them out. It started out fine but the nurse didn't allow the softener to sit long enough and when she scraped the ear wax out it ripped off from his skin inside and made it bleed! He as crying after that and would not let them finish! So for the next week we had to do Hydrogen Peroxide drains at home...He did not like those but it has helped get lots of earwax out! Poor Boy!

A letter from Grace to Catherine! So cute!

February 8th: Matt came to watch Caden play basketball! Caden is getting so much better!

February 9th: LuLu+Roo changed their name to Little Road Co. With the new name change they created a video to represent their brand and our whole family made it in the video! Here are some screen shots I got from the video!

February 14th: Happy Valentines Day!! The night before I braided Catherine's hair in the shape of a heart! So glad she likes having her hair done! I also heart attacked the kid's bathroom mirrors! They loved it! Anika and I found out that we were wearing the same shirts too! haha For dinner, instead of Chris and I doing something romantic together, we decided to make it about the kids and make a fancy romantic dinner for them to express our love for them! They were so excited about having candles and lights off!

First sight of spring! yay!!!

February 16th: Officially hired on by the Jordan School District to coach Javelin at Herriman High School! The coach reached out to me and really wanted me to come coach! I am super excited and hope I can make it work!

February 18th: We took our whole family to Soldier Hollow to go sledding! The kids had so much fun and Jackson did really well! Afterwards we went to the restaurant right next to the sledding hill and got a yummy burger! Super fun activity that we always enjoy doing!--------
Right after we got home from that activity I took off to go down to Meadow for Iris Bond's funeral. Chris stayed with the kids and let them have a movie night and sleep in the movie room! When I got down to Fillmore I met up with my friend Liza to catch up on life and grab a bite to eat! Right afterwards we went to the girls basketball game where I met up with Jenell and my mom to watch Mary play! She is a awesome athlete! Once the game was over I was able to quickly say hi to Marla and Aimee in the Auditorium where they were practicing for the school play! Then I went to Jenell's house to spend the night! The next morning I was able to talk to Mary for like two hours before going to the funeral! Such good service in memory of Iris! Afterwards I went to my parents house for lunch before heading home! So glad Chris helped me make it possible for me to go down for the night! It was a much needed little get away for me!

Chris's project that he started while I was gone! Repainting the garage cabinets for House2Home

February 21st: Chris took Caden and McKay to Mantua to meet up with Matt for some ice fishing! They caught some massive fish! Always a good time for them going ice fishing and it is fun that the boys are getting old enough to go with their daddy! Meanwhile Catherine and I got to hang out and do some painting(she got it from Christmas and it has been a fun activity for her and I to do together), and go out to eat at Cafe Rio!
