Caden's Baptism

Such a beautiful special day!!! Can't believe my boy is already baptized in to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! So proud of him for wanting to make this decision and excited about it as well! We are all so grateful for the our family and friends that made the effort to be there to support Caden! The song that Caden, Catherine, and McKay sang together truly melted my heart! So proud of them for being so brave to do it in front of everyone (Chris didn't think they would actually go through with it). The program was beautiful! Both Kerry and my mom did a wonderful job and the spirit was definitely present! When it came time to actually baptize Caden, Chris had to do it twice because Caden's foot came up! It was so neat to have Kathy and I be the witnesses!  Afterwards we had a wonderful lunch...Chris worked hard on smoking the pork and we had lots of people help out by bringing food! Thanks again Anika for helping me with the CTR cookies! I hope Caden will always remember this special day! Truly was Amazing!

Freeman Reunion 2021

This years reunion was a lot of fun! I always love getting together with my family to catch up with those I haven't seen in a long time!
Monday July 19th: Drove to a church own camp site near Monticello. That first day we just hung out at the camp site and got all settled in. We had a tiny cabin that was perfect! We played 9 square and just hung out. Funny Story: McKay came in the cabin and said he needed to go potty (I thought he meant just pee...I was wrong) I told him just got outside. He then yelled "Mom I went poop" Oh man, I went out to find him butt naked with Deana and Beckie watching haha. SORRY

Tuesday July 20th: I got up early and went running with Deana and Mindy. We ran 4 miles with LOTS of hills...I about died! After breakfast everyone went to Hovenweep, while we planned to slowly make our way to the lake and meet everyone there at the lake. Everyone took way longer than expected to get to the lake and by the time they all arrived we were feeling done, but we stayed a bit longer and enjoyed the time there with everyone. We then went back to camp and enjoyed a yummy dinner. After dinner Chris went with Owen and Jed fishing which Owen was the only one to catch something. We then had a movie under the pavilion and then got kids to bed.

Wednesday July 21st: Chris took Caden on a bike ride in the morning and then we all went to the visitors center and got to hear the story and church sites of the Hole in the Rock. That was a pretty neat story! Afterwards we went back to camp so could help prepare dinner. Caden caught a ride with Jenell's family and stopped at a dinosaur museum on the way back.  After dinner we had the best family testimony sharing time....Unfortunately there was the biggest and loudest rainstorm ever that made it a little difficult to hear but it was still so great to hear everyones testimonies! That whole time were were trying to keep our stuff in the back of our truck from not blowing away and getting soaked. We took off right after the testimony meeting so that we could get home for work the next day...we didn't get home until 1am that night! It was a rough drive home for Chris...Luckily the kids slept the whole time! Great trip, kids did not want to leave, and Jackson did awesome!!

Catherine lost her very first tooth! She was so nervous!! Yay Catherine!
