The Huntington Family: June 2021

Welcome June!!

I have been working hard on pictures for LuLu+Roo! I have also been trying to do better at my photography social media! So here is an example of something I threw together for my instagram!

Caden is a great big brother! He loves his baby brother so much! He isn't as good as Catherine watching the baby for me but he will occasionally hold him and feed him!

McKay can even injure daddy sometimes! Crazy kid! haha

June 2nd: School is almost out! Can't believe Caden will be done with 2nd grade and Catherine will be going into all day 1st grade!! This last week of school is full of fun activities at school! Caden Loves his teacher Mrs. Snow soo much!!

June 3rd: Hanging out at Emily Evershed's house so I can go to my 6 week dr. appointment! Emily is seriously the best! Kids always have fun there!

June 4th: Last day of school!! The neighborhood put on a fun party that Caden and Catherine was able to walk to. Right afterwards Caden was invited to go to a friend's house for a swim party! He has a really good group of friends right now! Dax, Nolan, Sam, Gage,

Now that I have been cleared for exercise I am starting to insanity! The baby weight is sure not coming off like it did with my other pregnancies! Blah! McKay is cute to cheer me on watch me from the couch...usually with a snack! Jackson just chills on the floor and watches me attempt jumping! haha

June 6th: Matt invited Chris to join him in a fishing tournament at Utah Lake! They had a certain amount of time to catch ten of their biggest fish to weigh in at the end. All morning they weren't catching anything until one 30 minute stretch they were catching them left and right! other people started scooting closer to their jack pot fishing spot. Chris was even able to throw out some of the smaller ones to replace with the bigger ones! In the end Chris took 2nd place overall and won a BIG trophy and $500!! He gave half of that to Matt because Matt was the one who really convinced Chris to go in the first place! Chris Loves the trophy and insists it be on display in the living room all the time! haha

Just had to show a quick before and after picture of my waterfall now that all the flowers are blooming and looking amazing!

June 11th: I decided to take the kids to the splash pad! This is probably our first venture out with just me and all 4 kids! Baby steps haha The kids had fun but the were mostly cold the whole time and just wanted to lay in the sun! Jackson just slept the whole time, cute boy!

June 12th: We met up with Christine and her kids at the big splash pad! They all had much more fun with friends! It was hard to keep track of them all!

Our cute baby Jackson!!! He is just full of smiles!

June 15th: Caden was again invited to his friend's house to swim! He is getting much more comfortable in the water and is not afraid to put his head in anymore! YAY!

June 16th: MY BIRTHDAY! "Happy birthday mom", from the kids! Kids surprised me by cleaning the whole house! They had signs up and Caden even helped Catherine make me and her matching bracelets! They are so thoughtful! That night I convinced Chris to go out to Texas road house as a family! The kids did fairly well (I think this was our first time as a family going out to a sit down restaurant). The kids even convinced me to sit on the saddle so they could sing happy birthday to me! McKay was so jealous that I got to sit on the saddle and was making a big deal out of it and our waitress was so kind she took McKay by the had and took him back to sit on the saddle! He was so happy after that! haha

Sadly my great birthday took a turn for the worst on our drive home...Stephanie called Chris to inform him about their dad just having a heart attack! That news really shook Chris up and put him in a downward spiral of anxiety and worry. Luckily it was a very mild heart attack and is looking like everything will be just fine....but still not fun having that kind of news!

June 19th: Chris really felt bad the way my birthday turned out so he planned a fun family get together with my sisters and their families down in Meadow! We had hamburgers at the park hosted by Chris and then we played volleyball! That truly was so much fun and much needed! Chris you are the Best!

June 23rd: Jackson was asked to be in the LuLu+Roo photoshoot! He is sooo cute!

June 24th: Happy Birthday Caden!!!!! I put his in a separate post!

June 25th: The start of our kitchen repaint job...turning it to white! So excited! Here is the before and after shots! It really made a big difference in brightening it all up!

June 26th: We decided to go hike donut falls as a family and have a picnic. We walked about half way and then decided to turn back and just go hammock instead! It was so nice to get away from the city and stressed that the city involves and escape to the beautiful and peaceful mountains!
