March 2021

This is our "Redneck slide that the kids created!

We forgot to register the van...by a lot!! The one time Chris drove the van he got pulled over and got a ticket. The police officer said that he was lucky that he wasn't impounding the van....It was about 9 months late! haha oops. I had to wait in line at the DMV for an hour! Lesson learned!

Finally getting nice weather to go for a walk!

We were asked to have the boys model a bunch of lulu+roo clothes to post on the VIP FB page. They were so cute!

Thought I better document how many cars end up at our house when a lot of the girls are working at the same time! Sadly there has been even more than this before! BUT....We just got a unit in Springville and hope to slowly move in there and be fully operating by the end of May! Yay, so exciting for House2Home to be doing so well!

Catherine got to go with the Claytons to Chick-fil-A and see Cinderella and the Prince there!

McKay and James can be the cutest little buddies!

March 12th: Caden's first Basketball game! He did pretty good, especially for not really knowing what he was supposed to do or be! It is fun to see the progress at each game! It has been interesting juggling taking him to practice every Monday and Wednesday nights at 6pm. Games are pretty much every Friday and Saturdays except for an occasional off. His coach is good, I just wish he wouldn't yell so much at them and would instead talk calmly to explain things!

March 13th: Catherine and I invited Grace and Christine to join us on our Mommy Daughter birthday date! We took them to a college salon where the girls got to get their hair and nails done. Christine and I also got pampered!

March 15th: Jenell and Owen came and stayed the night so we could take them to the airport early the next morning! That was fun getting to chat with them for a bit even if they did get here super late!

March 17th: Happy St. Patricks Day! The leprechaun got them again! haha The kids just love making traps for him and seeing if they caught him the next day! We carried on our tradition with Patties Day with the Claytons on the 18th because Caden had basketball practice at 6pm.

Catherine won the Dance-Off Competition! I guess it was whoever knew the dance the best! Go Catherine!

March 17th-20th. Drew Day Challenge! Chris and Heath decided to make Drew's birthday more exciting by coming up with a "Cotopaxi Questival" like challenge! We had an awesome time recalling all the memories with Drew and re-living making our own. Especially fun to see everyone participate and "fly by the seat of their pants". My favorite was watching Chris jump into the freezing river while it was snowing outside! I was impressed that he actually did it! Funny thing was that Chris forgot his towel and change of clothes. He had to use my jacket as a towel!

March 20th: Dad took the kids grocery shopping, then took Catherine on a daddy daughter date while I set up for the surprise birthday party for Catherine. I have it all on a separate post. As soon as her party was over we were rushing out the door to get to Caden's basketball game on time. As soon as his game got over we drove to provo canyon to do the fishing challenge and have Chris jump in the river. No luck catching any fish.  After doing all the challenges we got some Cafe Rio and took it to our new warehouse to eat! Pretty fun to see the new warehouse. Busy long day, we got back late to get kids to bed!

March 23rd: I had a zoom conference meeting with Caden's teacher. She has been very impressed with how Caden has been doing at school. She had no complaints about him and he is above on everything! Only thing he could improve on is his handwriting! So proud of you Caden!
That evening Chris picked up Jenell and Owen from the airport. Fun to hear about their trip to Mexico for their 20th anniversary!

March 24th: I got to go into work at Lulu+Roo. I took McKay with me and we got to join the team for lunch. Afterwards I had my meeting with Amanda, she is just wanting me to post the pictures on the website! McKay was so excited to go into work to see dad.

March 25th: I had another Dr. appointment. The appointments take so long for only ten minutes of my actual visit with them. Thankfully Beckie has been so awesome in being willing to come watch Catherine and McKay while I am at my appointments!

March 27th: Very busy day....Caden had a game at 9am, party at 10am, my maternal massage at 12(which was heaven), and McKay's birthday party at 5pm(all on a separate post)! One of the girls from Caden's class at school invited him to her birthday party. Luckily his basketball game got done right in time to go straight to her Harry Potter Themed party!

March 28th: We were invited to Shane and Jamie Whittiers for Sunday dinner. We got there a little early because they asked me if I would do some product pictures for their product and we needed to get some lifestyle images. Dinner was fun to catch up and reunite with their Hungarian friends!

March 30: I took the kids to a new place called KidsTopia on McKay's Real birthday! Way cool place with so many things to explore! Caden and Catherine were way cute with Mckay helping him up and taking him wherever they went...until the Clayton kids showed up. But luckily McKay and James hung out close to us moms. Right at the very end when it was time to go McKay came crying to me because he got hurt. At first I thought it was just his wrist popped in and out again like he has had happened in the past. But after naps when we got home he was still holding onto his hand and saying it hurt. He was saying it hurt by his knuckles. Caden explained to my what happened: He said that McKay was going down the slide on his tummy with his hands out in front of him, Caden came down right behind him on his bum and caught McKay's hand with his bum Hyperextending McKay's fingers back! I called the nurse and she said to give him ibuprofen and keep an eye on it. So we decided to give it the night and see how it looks in the morning. The next morning it was still very swollen and starting to change colors. So I decided I better take him in the dr to get it x-rayed just to be sure. I was pretty confident that it wasn't broken because he could still use it but better be safe than sorry. After a long wait at the dr.'s office we finally got it x-rayed and it was not broken. What a relief! They gave him a brace to wear for the next three weeks! Let's hope he will keep in on.

Waiting at the Dr.'s office! He was so cute and brave. He even flirted with the nurse and asked her what her name was. He even told her that he liked her blue nails and was excited how she matched his shirt! haha
