December 2019

Can't believe it is the last month of the year! December is always a fun and magical time of year, but this year was extra special because Grandma and Grandpa Huntington spend Christmas with us! The beginning of the month was very eventful. We had a LuLu&Roo Adult only work party, a photoshoot with LuLu, Sam's birthday party, and then went down to Meadow over the weekend to get our Christmas tree. The second week of December we had our Ward Christmas party, me and the kids made 2 dozen cookies to give to the orange branch, we went to Caden's first Jr. Jazz game, and FHE Sunday. The kids were out of school on the 23rd-3rd. Grandma and Grandpa arrived at our house Saturday the 21st and stayed until Thursday the 26, the day after Christmas. While they were here we made ginger bread houses, performed the nativity scene, went to Kevin's Christmas Eve Party, and of coarse Christmas! We had a wonderful, Christmas!

LuLu&Roo work party at a restaurant up at SunDance.

Sam's 7th Birthday Party! He loved the gift that Caden brought!

Quick trip down to Meadow to get our tree! We got there Friday evening, Went and got our tree Saturday morning. Daniel and Conner came with us. I stayed at the base with the kids to play while Daniel and Chris found the perfect tree. They searched for about two hours before finding this beauty! Good thing because kids were getting cold and hungry! We all had fun though! Grandma made waffles for us that evening and then that night Chris and I went to the shop to cut out all the puzzles. On Sunday after church we hung out at Jenell's until we left to go home.

As soon as we got home we whipped out all the decorating stuff to decorate the tree!

Finally finished all the puzzles! I loved how they turned out!

Catherine's doll bed that I made for her for Christmas!
Making 2 dozen cookies for the Orange Branch!

At Caden's Jazz basketball. McKay kept wanting to go shoot the ball in the hoop! Caden made a basket in the game so we took the whole family out to In-and-Out afterwards! Go Caden!

Chris's little elves putting together the trap fort for the kids. Christmas morning they had to go on a hunt for the key to unlock the passage to the presents. We had clues that lead to the key. They loved it! I was super excited for them, I couldn't sleep very well that night either. The kids had a wonderful Christmas morning. They had so much fun opening presents. Caden got Legos, a bear, a mug, a bank, two games, and a drone. Catherine got a doll, clothes for the doll, a high chair, a pink puppy, a Elsa blanket, and doll bed. McKay, got a talking puppy, a stuffed puppy that he loves to sleep with, a moving puppy, a phone, and a book. Grandma and Grandpa got a large family picture, a calendar that I made, the puzzles, grandma got pjs with me and the kids, and grandpa got some BYU socks! Chris got noise canceling head phones, bike helmet, thermals, and pillow. Mom got a pillow, calendar, jacket, water bottle, and kitchen rug! Wonderful Christmas!

Go BYU! In McKay's words, "U!" He loves watching football and basketball!

The legos are a great gift for Caden! Keeps him entertained for several hours!

New Years Eve! That day we went to Nickelcade and then that night we had a movie night and let the kids sleep out in the living room! They stayed up until about 10:30 watching Where the red fern Grows, and the real version of Dora the Explorer. Great way to end the year!
