October 2019

I always love this month with all the fun fall festivities. To begin the month on the 3rd we were able to get babysitters so we could go to Manti Temple to be a part of Deric and Alana's sealing. After the sealing I took there pictures for them and then we were all treated to lunch at the Mexican Restaurant. It was a fun gathering. That weekend we had general conference and I got to go with Catherine to Aunt Linda's for the woman's session. She is so sweet and order us all Olive Garden! On the 11th-13th I went on a woman night retreat to Moab with Kathy, Amber, Stephani, and Kaitlin. On the 19th we went with Melinda to the month Farm and then that evening had our ward Halloween Party. Chris left the party a little early to go to the BYU Football game with Ben. The kids had fall break the following week so I decided to take the kids down to Meadow for a couple days and allow Chris to get a lot of work done. The 26th we got up early to go cheer Chris on at his 5k race. The rest of the day was our Annual Pumpkin Fest at Aunt Linda's...Our Favorite!!! The following day MyoStorm was aired on Shark Tank, so we went to Jono's to celebrate and watch it! To end the month was of coarse...Halloween!

For Deric's Sealing Christine was nice enough to watch all of our kids for us! Luckily Caden and Catherine were both at school for the majority of the day.

They went on a field trip to the Wheeler Farm. It was fun for her to see Gracie there!

My weekly laundry. Still a couple more loads being washed too! And my little climber!

My girls trip to Moab! It was so nice to go and relax and not feel pressured to be in any hurry or take care of anyone. We went to the hot tub, went on a hike to an arch, saw petroglyphs, went out to eat and relaxed watching a movie, The Help. It was a much needed trip and it was so much fun talking with Kaitlin on the drive there and back!

Chris made this shirt because they told him to wear pink for when the new guy comes....He doesn't have any pink shirt so he made it! Now it has become a funny shirt that he wears on launch day as his lucky launch day shirt! haha

We went to the month farm with Melinda. It was freezing cold!

Getting ready for our Ward Halloween party! It was fun dressing our family up as a Peter Pan theme. I had a bunch of stuff for Caden being Captain hook but he refused to wear all of it!

Heading down to Meadow for our Fall Break! We stopped at Dairy Queen on the way down. While there we went on lots of walks and made a hut at one of the places I used to play at when I was young. We didn't really hang out much with cousins. Just a relaxing get away from the city. It was fun to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids loved getting grandmas famous waffles and doing odd jobs to get candy out of Grandma's candy machine. Grandma and Grandpa loved having us there. They sent this letter to Caden after we got back home.

Cheering on Dad even though it was so cold! He was pretty nervous but he did beat the carrot and ran his guts out. His time he got was 21:30! Awesome! Then we went to Aunt Linda's for Pumpkin Fest. We carved pumpkins, had pizza, did gourd tossing, and pumyata (the kids favorite).

Happy Halloween!! We had the Claytons over for dinner and then went trick or treating to a few houses around our house and then went to a few around their house.
