Kathy and Kerry came and stayed for a week. While they were here the boys went on a fishing trip to Strawberry Resivior. Caden started basketball and had games every Saturday. Linda and Bruce Draper celebrated their 50th year anniversary on the 6th that we went to and I took family pictures for them. Catherine had her first day of her last year of preschool on the 9th! On the 14th Chris and I went on a double date with another couple in our ward. We went out to eat and got Sushi and then went back to their house to play games. We had our monthly FHE Sunday. I have been going to play stake volleyball on Thursdays or Chris goes and I stay, and occasionally we will get a babysitter so we can both go. The kids had their primary program, Caden did awesome but Catherine did not want to do it. On the 21st we let the kids sleep out on the tramp for their first time. The 27th we went to Park City to ride on the Mountain Coaster and on the way home we stopped in the mountains to take our family pictures! On the 28th we went to Thanksgiving Point with Bridger and Bri and enjoyed all the different museums. On the 29th we went to Adams Homecoming and luncheon afterwards.
Boys Fishing Trip! Caden loved how he got to drive the boat while they fished. Dad was the winner with the most fish which was only 3 haha. Caden looks forward to this trip every year, makes him feel so special that he gets to go with the older boys!
Aunt Linda and Uncle Bruce 50th Wedding Anniversary! They had a good turn out of people that came and it was fun taking their family pictures! We love this family!
For a combined mutual activity we went on a hike to this little water fall. I enjoy having these weekly activities and to be able to get out of the house.
Can't believe that my girl will be in Kindergarten next year, she is growing up so fast! She is so excited to go to school and have her teacher be Miss Greta who is in our ward. She has school three days a week two hours each time. McKay will miss her when she is gone, but luckily he takes an hour nap for part of the time she is gone. The other hour I like to go running while pushing McKay in the stroller. Here are some pictures from her first month of school.
Caden has a super wiggly tooth with his permanent tooth already coming up. He refuses to let us pull it out! He won't even let us touch it!
September 11th. Caden went with his friends Issac and Oliver after school to go see all the flags!

We decided to let the kids sleep outside on the tramp for their first time. Just wishing we did it earlier in the summer because it was so cold!!! I was the one that decided to brave through the night with them this time. Kids had fun but they didn't like how everything was wet in the morning from the dew. We slept fine as long as everything was under the covers! Maybe we will try again next year and this time dad can have the sleepless night! haha
Chris is still in the Elders Quorum Presidency. They went golfing as an activity.

Caden's Anual Jog-athon. Caden likes getting the free shirt out of it. He also loved getting the shaved ice afterwards.
Up in Park City going on the mountain ride! Caden and Catherine loved it! Afterwards we drove through the mountains to see all of the pretty fall colors and take our family pictures which in a separate post. After taking our family pictures we went to eat at the train restaurant in Heber which kind of turned into a disaster because everyone was super tired and cranky and McKay squeezed the ketchup everywhere. Long day but at least we got to have a little fun and got some really cute family pictures out of it!
Thanksgiving Point Museums. Catherine Loved the butterfly museum! She had so many that would land on her. Caden hated every second of the butterflies, he couldn't wait to get out of there. All of them had so much fun riding the ponies. Made me wish that my parents still had horses to take them on a real trail ride! I just thought that it was so funny how scared Caden was of the butterflies to a point of making him cry but yet he chose the biggest horse to ride on and loved it! McKay was so cute on the pony. He got to the point of not wanting me to help hold him on, he wanted to do it all by himself....such a big boy. Every-time he would pass dad he would say cheese or Hi!
My kids are so good about doing chores and helping out around the house. They like the house to be clean too. Everyone is much happier if it is clean.
Caden and Catherine Really wanted to do a harvest sale. Our crop wasn't the best this year but we decided to let them go for it! They did really well and sold most of it. Caden is such a natural business man just like his dad!
Caden decided that he wanted to read to everyone before bed this time. He is becoming such a good reader. So proud of this boy and how smart he is.
