July 2018

Some of the main things that we did this month: 4th of July we went to a neighborhood bike parade, the kids loved being in that. We celebrated Chris's birthday. Another wonderful FHE Sunday where we celebrated mine, Caden, and Chris's birthday since we weren't there last month. Caden had his upstart graduation. Freeman Family Reunion, which is on its own post. Lots of summer activities like swimming, splashpad and soccer.

Mckay: 4 months old

4 month  Dr. Appointment: Weight: 16.6 lb. 75%  Height: 26.25 in. 87%   Head: 16.5 in. 38%

He has discovered his feet, which is so cute to see him playing with them. 

He no longer takes cat naps in the evening. 

Past couple weeks have been rough with Mckay. He hasn't been taking very good naps, instead of sleeping 10-11 hrs at night he has been doing 8-9 hrs. luckily he goes back to sleep after I feed him. 

He also has figured out how to roll over to his back but does not know how to get back to his tummy. I think it wakes him up and he doesn't like sleeping on his back. 

He has also been spitting up a ton still. Very annoying.

We switched him to Costco brand formula and he has taken well to it! yay

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

Our 4th wasn't as exciting this year. We didn't have family around which was very sad for us, just wasn't the same. So instead we hung out at home. Chris did set up a really cool obstacle course for the kids in the back yard to play on.  That evening we went to a neighborhood bike parade. The kids were super excited to be in it. Then we went to a firework show in that same neighborhood.

We had a work party for the girls that work for us in our garage. We got them shirts, had cafe rio, and played spike ball. Fun group of girls. 

Happy Birthday Chris!!! 

We didn't do anything too fancy this year...sorry Chris. But we did let him sleep in and made him breakfast in bed. We then went to the splash pad to watch the kids play. He got a giant card from his parents...So awesome! Finished the day with a yummy meal and his favorite cake....white cake with strawberries and whipped cream. 

Sundays are hard...haha he is so sleepy. But luckily Caden loves primary and he is learning a lot and Catherine loves nursery and her teachers. They are so cute with her.

Cow Appreciation Day! We decided to join the fun and go get free Chik-fil-A. Lot of people but it was fun!

Caden's Upstart Graduation!

7/11 Free Slurpee Day!! Of course we had to get one of those right before a hot soccer game! 

Catherine finally went out to play. I was proud of her for going out even though she didn't stay out there long. She just gets super scared and nervous. She really wanted to hold onto Caden's shirt but he shook her off because he wanted to go run. Thats when she came back to sit by me.
