The Huntington Family: December 2016

At the first of the month Chris and Ben went to Hong Kong China for a work trip to meet with their supplier. Chris does not do well at all with lack of sleep and Airplanes. He felt pretty sick the majority of the time he was there and took a few days after he got back home to recover. While they were there they went out to eat a lot, went to church with their supplier (former BYU graduate). Chris got to use his Cantonese language.
Meanwhile the kids and I enjoyed each other and had some exciting times. One of the nights the power went out at 7pm. Luckily we were through with dinner. It stayed out until 3am. Caden was really scared so Wayne invited us to come upstairs and play in the playroom until bedtime. That was such a relief and big help. Luckily for bed time I had batteries for their sound machines. That helped Caden to relax. He Hates when things don't work when they are supposed to. For some reason it just really scares him. But after I got them to sleep I was able to do some girl things for myself like a facial, paint my toes and then relax by the fire.
The rest of the time he was gone I went to Jaden's wedding while Matt and Kaitlyn watched Caden and Catherine. Such a beautiful wedding. Thank you Matt and Kaitlyn. After the reception we went to Zupas to eat and then went and spent the night at Christine's house. The next day we went to their ward Christmas party.

Later in the month memories:
Catherine got a new tooth.
Caden had a Christmas party at school. He loves to tell us everything he did at school. He loves school.
On the 18th Caden went to Primary!!! He was sad to go and cried for the first minute but then was fine. Catherine on the other hand went to nursery all by herself just fine! She loves nursery! Yay I am finally kid free for the last two hours of church!
We celebrated Sam Clayton's 4th Birthday!
The last week and half of December we drove down to Colorado to spend Christmas there. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. Played lots of games. Reenacted the Nativity scene. Obviously had Christmas day where the kids got LOTS of toys. They had so much fun. Went sledding. Went to a bounce place. Went swimming at a indoor pool. And Matt and Kaitlyn were again nice enough to watch our kids while we went snowboarding with Kerry and Kathy. Very fun!! We love spending time with family.
