For Mothers day Matt and Kaitlyn came to our house for dinner and games.
Amber Wright came and stayed with us for a week. We went to FHE Sunday at Aunt Linda's. Amber and I took the boys to Kangaroo Zoo to play. Then we also took the boys to the Hoggle Zoo. Once Briton got here I took Coulsen and my kids down to Meadow so Briton and Amber could have some time alone. The kids had so much fun in Meadow and Coulsen did great!!
The last morning that Briton and Amber stayed, they watched out kids so that Chris and I could run in the Run to Walk 5k.
Towards the end of the month we went down to Meadow again as a family. My Family was having a mini family reunion. The younger half of the family was all there plus JD. So there was JD, Marla, Franky, Jenell, Deric, Daniel, and Me and our families. It was fun to see everyone. That was my first time meeting Deric's little boy Liam. While we were down there Chris and I started our little garden in my Dad's garden.
For Memorial day Chris watched our kids and Jenell's kids while her and I went and played in a two on two grass volleyball tournament. Unfortunately we didn't do to well but we had lots of fun!
Caden
- I have been reading the child whisperer. He is definitely a type 2 and reading it reminds me a lot of what Caden is like.
- He is very aware of other people's feelings. He gets sad if someone else is sad.
- He is a planner, He likes to know what is going to happen. It really helps him to not be so worried and scared if we really talk things through with him.
- He is very calm and shy around others he is not familiar with. Just needs to take his time soaking new things in.
- He loves to do puzzles. He likes the challenges of thinking.
- He has been asking lots of questions lately, Especially WHY?
- Loves to help me: silverwear, fold clothes, sweep, mop
- Still struggles with nursery but doing better. I think he will do much better when Catherine is in there with him.
- Starting to make animal noises
- Gives her baby open mouth kisses
- Got her top molars on May 13th
- Got her bottom molars on the 23rd
- Screams when she gets excited
- Loves to play with Caden. For the most part they get along well. Sometimes not as much! haha
- Still very much a mommy's girl! I love it!
