- So after we got back from the Clayon's at the first of the month we decided to switch Catherine and Caden sleeping quarters! For the longest time we were playing musical sleeping beds! haha It started out with Caden in his normal crib in his room and Catherine had been sleeping in our room in the pack n' play but then we decided to switch them to see if it would help Catherine sleep through the night! So we made a bed on our floor in our room for Caden and put Catherine in Caden's crib in his room. It worked, Catherine was sleeping though the night! yay!! We must be Loud sleepers or Caden sleep walks, haha or something because Caden started waking up around 5 and either wandering around the house(which made us super scared when we woke up to find him not in his bed) or sometimes he would just be standing right next to one of us, staring at us. Kind of freaks you out to open your eyes to have someone just staring at you! haha Anyway he would normally get in bed with us for a little bit. Silly boy!! So we decided it was best to put Caden back in his crib in his own room! That fixed his problem but we new we could not bring Catherine back into our room. So we cleared out the area from under the stairs! She is now sleeping in a more padded pack n' play with a sheet over the entrance and a sound machine! Both her and Caden are sleeping good!! except for the week where she was teething, but that is to be expected!! Both sleeping at least 11 hrs through the night!!! Yay!!!
It is amazing how many changes have happened this week! She has developed so much in just weeks!
- At the beginning of the month Catherine was attempting to get up on her hands and knees but then would quickly fall back onto her tummy! In the middle of the months she was lunging herself forward doing this awkward belly flop thing, kind of looked like the worm. haha. By the end of the month she is cruising all around the house!!
- She is much more happy now that she can move around and go where she wants! So even though it is more work to keep the floors clean, I enjoy her being happy!
- Puts anything and everything into her mouth!
- She is laughing a lot more and she is figuring out how to just relax and laugh normally!
- She is eating solids a lot better! About around her being 7 months old I started feeding her 3 times a day.
- She absolutely loves puffs!!! Helps when she is fussy!
- She is now only taking two naps!! also switched from 3 to 2 around 7 month old.
- So she gets her 4-5 oz bottle when she wakes up at 8. Eats some rice cereal around 9. Takes about 1 hour nap around 10. At 11am she gets her 4-5 oz. bottle. At 12 she gets Lunch with Caden, except she just usually has some kind of fruit mush. At 2 Catherine takes another bottle 5-6 oz. and then both her and Caden go down for naps!! Yes I planned it this way! I love my couple hours to myself!! Caden usually sleeps from 2-3:30-4 and Catherine usually goes from 2-5!! Awesome!! She then gets another 4-5 oz. bottle. We all eat dinner together around 6. Catherine usually has some kind of vegetable then!
- She does not like peas! Who does? haha
- Got her first two teeth this month!! She is much happier now that those two bottom teeth pocked through! Not looking forward to the other teeth. She did fairly good, but she is much happier now that they aren't hurting her any more. Reminds me of the commercial "with less pain I feel better" haha
- She says "mamamam" a lot!
- She is definitely a momma's girl!! I love it,...sometimes! It can be hard when I need to do things and she just wants me to hold her! She doesn't like when I leave to go into a different room without her.
- She can now go from crawling position to sitting position on her own and vise versa.
- She loves any kind of necklace that I wear. I don't like to wear them anymore because my chest will be soaked with her drool if I allow her to play with it, just easier not to wear them at all.
- He is talking better! words are becoming more clear and easier to understand. The word of the month is "two". He loves it and says it so clearly!
- Caden Loves Tom Tom (the talking cat app that repeats everything you say). He will play with him forever and gets mad when I tell him it is time to say bye! haha
- And still loves to watch Daniel's Tiger Neighborhood! I think we need to go on a tv and phone fast for Caden! haha that sounds crazy to say for a two year old!!
- He loves playing with his friends sam and Eli.
- He loves family!!
- Still very shy of strangers or people he doesn't frequently see. He is funny when he gets in his shy mood. He will get between our legs and lay on the floor...pretty much anything he can do to be as far away from the person but still touching me or Chris. haha I was pretty shy when I was little too!
- Most of the time he is a good listener and loves to help out.
- He plays pretty good with Catherine! I love to see them laughing and playing together!
- He loves to make circles on the floor carpet using cups and bowls...whatever makes a circle!

The first weekend of October we spent Friday night at the Clayton's house! I went to their place earlier in the day Friday to hang out with Christine because Chris and Ben went to a home BYU football game. It was a super late game where they didn't get back to the Clayton residence until around 1am. After getting the kids to bed Christine and I enjoyed some girl time. We watched a movie- Cinderella, while feeding our face ice cream! The next morning Christine made us some delicious cinnamon rolls while we watched Saturday morning conference. We left for home after the first session.

We went to Colorado for Michael and Amber's baby's Blessing, Kate! We had fun with the family for the short amount of time that we got to stay! We got there late Thursday and came back on Sunday. We will take what we can get! Caden Loved playing with his cousins and playing on the trampoline!

Pumpkin Bash!! It has become a tradition that every year for Halloween we go to Aunt Linda's house and enjoy time with Family. We have lunch, pumpkin carving, golf/ baseball little gourds, gourd tossing contest, and a big pumpkin piñata! So much Fun!!! Love this tradition! Love being with Family, Even Grandma got to come!!

After the pumpkin bash we went to Ben and Christine's house to have Caden be able to go trick or treating with Sam! So great that they were able to be together on Halloween for there first year and now their second!! They both had fun and enjoyed getting candy but did not last very long before they were ready to go home! Caden was funny, you could tell he wanted to get more candy but was scared every time we got to a door! My super shy monkey!! We also spent that night there at the Clayton' home. After we got kids to bed we took care of bubbles and then ate a lot of goodies (apple pie, cheesecake, and delicious nachos) while watching a pretty weird movie Me Earl And The Dying Girl...reminded me of the movie Napoleon Dynamite. haha Oh well it was fun. We went to church with them the next morning and left straight from church to come home! We are grateful for our friendship that we have with the Claytons!
