The Huntington Family: November 2015

At the biginning of the month I will really busy making the measuring height boards to sell. I got one big order to make about 20 as kits. On the 13th of November we went down to Meadow for the weekend. We stayed Friday night at Marla's and then Saturday night at Jenell's. We had fun playing games with marla's family. On saturday before we went out to Jenell's, Marla watched our kids while Chris and I worked most of the day at the shop working on some blocks for Caden and also working on a new project to try and sell- a puzzle rocking chair!! It is just a little toddler rocking chair that comes apart to store away easier. I have mine that my mom made when I was a little girl! At Jenell's house we had fun watching a movie and then going to church with them the next day. However...That night right when we were getting ready to head back home, Chris started throwing up!! NOOOO!!!! So I drove us home and once we got home, Chris was as sick as could be throwing up a bunch but then Catherine started throwing up!!!! That was the worst!! Poor baby! She threw up about three times that night. So Chris was up all night throwing up while I was up taking care of my sick baby! So sad! Every time she threw up I would have to change her clothes and the bedding and put her in the tub because it went everywhere! That whole week I think was the worst week of my parenthood life!! No Joke! I have never done so much laundry in my life! So Chris stayed home from work that Monday still a bit sick but at least not throwing up! Catherine was still throwing up and really fussy! Tuesday Catherine wasn't throwing up anymore but now had diarrhea which I think is worse than throw up, it too goes Everywhere and stinks really bad! She had diarrhea the rest of that week! Tuesday night Caden also got diarrhea, and for him too went Everywhere!! Lots and Lots of Laundry every day and lots of sanitize deep cleaning!! By Wednesday night I was exhausted of taking care of everyone....I started throwing up that night! I was up all night! MOMS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO GET SICK! Thursday Chris went to work only to come back because I could not even function to take care of the kids. Once he got home I went to bed and slept the rest of the day! Luckily by Saturday, just a few days before our anniversary, we were all better!!! Worst week Ever!! But after that life was Great! haha Monday morning Grandma and Grandpa Huntington came!! They spent Monday night with us and then Tuesday Chris and I left to celebrate our Anniversary while they watched our kids for us! Chris and I went to go see Hunger Games the last one in the theaters. Loved it! Then we drove to Heaber where we went out to eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant. After dinner we went to Daniel's Lodge where we spent the night! Such a great day! We both slept in until 9!! wow! Then we got ready and went to Kneaders for breakfast...of coarse we got their famously delicious french toast!! After breakfast we went window shopping to kill time before it was our turn at the Midway hot spring crater. It is a giant hot spring inside of a old volcano dome!! That was fun, but we were both a little disappointed that we couldn't jump in and we had to wear a life vest the whole time! But overall a very Very fun Fun Anniversary!! 5 Years Baby!!! Couldn't have asked for a better husband and Father to our kids! I am definitely blessed to have married into an amazing family as well. I love you Chris!! Here is to many Many more years Together! Anyway, after our anniversary trip we met grandma and grandpa with our kids at Grandma Elaine's house. We spent the night there and then enjoyed the next day celebrating Thanksgiving!!! I love Thanksgiving...family and food what can you ask for more of! We had Thanksgiving dinner at Uncle Kevin's house! There was Really yummy food! The rest of that week we just hung out with family!

Catherine: 8 months old

She loves to follow Caden around! She loves him...as long as he isn't picking on her!! haha
She found the stairs!!! She absolutely loves them! ugh! No! haha Surprisingly she is really good at going up, but we still got to work on the going down part!
She is a very sensitive soul! She starts crying if Caden were to even touch her sometimes. Also she will cry if I yell or have a loud voice when getting after Caden!
Catherine does not like loud noises! It scares her really bad, she will shake and start crying!
She loves the curtains! I don't know why but when both her and Caden are playing in them, she will just laugh and laugh! I love it!
She is getting a lot better at eating! She Loves food that she can eat herself! So we have been trying more soft finger foods that we might be eating! She is just a very independent little girl!
She loves to stand and walk along the couch!
Says "dadada" ALot!! She is still very much a moma's girl but she loves it when dad is home!!
She likes to be with me wherever I am and is very much into the stranger danger stage!
Her schedule is pretty much the exact same as last month!

Caden:

For the most part Caden is really good with Catherine! He Really likes to be the only one to go say hi to Catherine when she wakes up from her nap. He likes to climb into the crib with her and play.
He can be a bit to rough with her sometimes when he is trying to play! I guess that is a boy for ya!
Caden loves when we play hide n' seek! It seems to be our game that we play every monday night for FHE! He is actually really good and being quiet when it is his turn to hide! Such a fun game for us all to play together! Catherine on the other hand is not good at being quiet, she always gives us away! haha Fun Family Time!
Some funny Caden stories:

During the passing of the sacrament at church Caden pooped (Really stinky). Chris whispered to Caden "you pooped Caden!" Caden in a very loud voice said, "No Dad pooped!" haha So funny! Chris was all "sshhhhh" haha Funny how those things always happen when it is the quietest for all to hear! haha
Chris probably wont like me telling this next one but I am going to anyway! haha Chris was in Caden's room playing with Caden and Catherine while I was making dinner. Chris let a silent toot slip...apparently it was Really stinky because Caden sniffed the air, walked closer to Chris and sniffed again, walked right next to Chris and sniffed again but his bum this time and said, "Pee Yew!" haha When Chris told me that I was dying!!
One day I was just sitting on the couch watching Caden and Catherine play and out of no where Caden comes over to me and gives me the Biggest kiss ever!! haha I mean it was so big it almost made me uncomfortable! haha jk. With both of his hands he grabbed my face and pulled me in and laid it on me! It was a long kiss too...for at least a whole minute! haha Love my cute boy!
