June 2015

So much has happened this month! We had my birthday, Father's Day, Strawberry Days week, and Caden's Birthday, went down to Meadow, and bought a van!!!

Catherine: 3 months old

• the majority of the time she still drinks 4 oz. but sometimes will drink 5 or even 6oz. She drinks the whole thing with no burps until the very end. She still drools down her neck when she eats, so if you don't have a rag under the bottle you will have a nice surprise of stinky crusties in her neck later. haha
• Her schedule is still the same as at 2 months. She still takes a catnap around 6-7pm. She goes down for the night at 8pm and has been pretty consistent sleeping until 6am. There has been about 5 times total where she has slept until 7 or 7:30! love it!
• She smiles so much, just when you look at her and smile she will smile back. Even when she is so so hungry and you get her a bottle she will stop and smile with the bottle in her mouth.  She has the most beautiful smile ever! She automatically makes you happy when she smiles at you. 
• She is on verge of laughing. I am so excited to hear her laugh! She has come really close. 
• She is still so SO wiggly! Way more than what Caden ever was. Chris even said "She is the wiggliest baby in the World! Just Chill out baby!!" haha She is fun! 
• We switched her to her pack n' play to sleep because she wiggles around while she sleeps until her head is right next to the side of the bassinet. It just wasn't big enough. 
• She found her hands. She is like a sucker fish haha. She loves sucking on her hands, my arms, or just whatever comes to her mouth! 
• She has started loosing her hair, but I think it will stay brown, along with her eyes. 
• She is so long in length!! She must get it from me, poor girl! She is skinny and long which makes it hard for her clothes to fit properly! 

Caden:

Just turned 2!!!! I will do a separate post for him!

 We were blessed to get to spend more time with Chris's family for a few days:

So you might be confused why I am posting this picture of my leg....well this is the only picture I got from my volleyball tournament that I didi with Jenell (my sister). It was so much fun! 2x2 grass tournament. Started at 9am and did get done until around 3ish. I am so grateful that Chris let me go play all day while he watched the kids and hung out with his family. Jenell and I didn't make it too far into the competition but it was fun and well worth it!

 Caden was on a role of breaking things all in one day!! He shattered my blender because he was reaching to grab it because he wanted a smoothie really bad and couldn't wait for me and it slipped out of his hands. He also cracked my phone when he dropped it on the cement. and then he broke my crock pot!!! That was a Bad day!!!

Caden is so funny! Just looking at this picture you would think it is just a mess but Caden took time putting these cars in particular places. Each car is on its own block parallel with the directly of what the block is going. 

He lined these cars up all by himself! haha He is such a Particular boy!!

My attempt at making Homemade whole wheat Bread!! Tasted really good if I do say so myself! 

We bought a potty for Caden! He loves to sit on it whenever we go in to use the toilet! 

Ok so I know this is a really sad picture to be posting, but if you look closely when she cries she had a shape of a heart on her forehead!

I made him a Delicious breakfast: yogurt pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs. I had him open a gift before he had his breakfast which had this mug inside! He loved it and was very surprised! I sure love you Chris! You are an awesome Father to our kids!

Week of Amber's Birthday:
I had a Wonderful 24th Birthday!! Thank you Chris for making a very Memorable week!
A week before my birthday, we finally got a van!! I absolutely love it!!! We have been married for almost 5 years with only having one vehicle! This already has been life changing! We spent Several months searching for a vehicle. We ended up getting this fancy Honda Odyssey  2012. It is so nice: leather seats, dvd, sun roof, back up video, seats in the back fold down into ground, etc! LOVE! Caden loves having the dvd player! :)

The weekend before my birthday we went down to meadow! I really wanted to go down and see some of my siblings! It was also great being home on my dads birthday! We had a wonderful time!

Caden enjoyed seeing all of the animals.

June 16th, My BIRTHDAY!!!
Chris surprised me with having the kitchen decorated and had Heath candy bars on the table(my favorite). He also put balloons in the van in the drivers seat! haha Love you Chris! It was a wonderful Day!!

We met up for lunch at Zupas! I love their nuts about berries salad! 

We went to dinner at Olive Garden! 

I received this letter from my parents for my birthday! I miss them so much!

The week of my birthday was also Strawberry Days week. So for my birthday we went to the rodeo with the Whittiers.

Part of Strawberry Days, there was a baby contest! Chris talked me into taking Catherine. I think we are both definitely biased and prideful of our little Girl! I just think she is the cutest in the world and nobody can convince me otherwise, not even a contest that she didn't win!

Heath/Anika and Chris/me got to play in a 4x4 coed volleyball tournament that was part of strawberry days. It was Sooo much fun! Definitely very sore after but so worth it. We ended up placing 3rd! Not bad for not practicing or playing in a few years! I wish I had some pictures to show. But I did get pictures of Caden that was being baby sat by one of Chris's cousins. Caden did so good for them! Catherine was being watched by a lady from our ward! It was so nice to be able to go play without having our kids there. So thank you to those that helped with our kids!
