We are celebrating our Christmas early this year since we will be going to Colorado and with the move! We are doing it this Saturday, the Saturday before Christmas!
Our little baby girl is still growing and developing!! All seems to be going well. This pregnancy is going by A Lot quicker than what it did with Caden! It does help to have this move right in the middle to keep us busy! Moving while being pregnant is frustrating because I am constantly reminding myself not to overdue it! We have been blessed with wonderful friends though! Our friends Jenni and Ryan were so kind to watch Caden for a few hours last Saturday so we could get lots done without Caden coming right behind us undoing everything we just did! haha I am sure all moms know what that is like when trying to clean!! Anyway, pregnancy is going great!! My back hasn't bothered me so far like it did with the last pregnancy! I am surprised it hasn't with me taking care of Caden and all. I have been working really hard at not picking Caden up. It is hard because he is still my baby, but he is just getting too heavy and I am getting too big. It is starting to get uncomfortable even having him sit on my lap! Sacrament meeting is the worst. With Chris being in the bishopric I have Caden on my lap for that whole hour. He holds pretty still for the most part, but he is still pushing on her and my bladder! BUT...I feel Great!! Sometimes I even forget that I am pregnant...until my belly gets in the way or she kicks me, which is all the time! :)
Caden seems to be handling everything well! I am so excited to have him be closer to his cousins to get to know them more!! Right now he hardly ever gets to play with other kids his age, except for Sundays at nursery! Well it has been awhile since I have done an update on Caden! It amazes me how much he changes in even just a week! He is so much fun, always keeps us laughing! I love him so much! Every time I think about how much I love him, it makes me emotional! Can't imagine life without him!!
Caden: 18 months old
- I have been taking him to nursery for the past couple of months and just staying in there. He loves it! There was no point in trying to take him to relief society with me...I never got any relief! But I think it will help him to adjust to being in nursery without us! As it is, we have been able to leave him in there by himself a couple times. He doesn't cry when we leave, he just gets very sad. He starts crying when we come to get him though!! Like as if he is saying "I can't believe you left me!!!" I hate seeing him sad!! Chris is awesome...even though he is in the bishopric, he will sometimes go and be with him in nursery so I can go to relief society!!
- All of Caden's teeth are in except for his 2 year molars!!! Yay so glad to have those canines in! Those were a beast!
- He is trying to say words all the time. He will pretty much repeat anything that we tell him to say. It usually doesn't sound like the word. He will get the pitch correct but not the letters! So fun! My favorite is "Pee yew"! He usually will do that one really good! Lately he has been calling Dad "mom", drives us nuts and we remind him! I don't know why he started to do that!
- We like to play the nose goes game with him! He does it pretty good until he puts his finger in his nose...Chris taught him to do that and now Caden thinks it is a funny thing to do because he gets a good reaction out of us! DAD!!!!!
- We will ask him who should say the prayer and he will point to Mom or Dad! We love it!
- He loves to help me out! I love it, my own little slave!! haha JK but seriously it is nice when I am sitting and I need my water bottle....I just have to ask him to bring me my water please and he will! He is also pretty good at helping clean all of his toys, putting them away!
- He Loves playing with All of the pots and pans and their lids! Every day he will pull them all out to play with! I don't stop him, keeps him entertained! He likes putting his cars and other toys in the pots and putting the lids on. Luckily he helps put them away when he is done!
- He has a very good imagination! I love watching him play! He makes the car noises as he lays on the floor on his tummy pushing them around!
- He also likes to pretend eat!! haha so funny! He will stick his finger in one of the empty pots and pull it out and stick it in his mouth to suck it off! He then goes "Mmmm"! The other day we were with another boy about a year older than Caden. This boy had a pretend Ice cream cone and he was pretending to eat it. He gave me some and Caden really wanted some too. So the boy gave some to Caden to pretend to eat! Caden thought it was so fun. He kept opening his mouth up wide and saying "awawaw" Like saying "more". haha such a fun boy!
- He loves to dip his food in sauces, like ketchup or ranch! He gets that from his mommy!
- We have taught him to do "rubby nosies"! (Eskimo kisses) he loves it!
- He finally has caught on to the pound, or fist pump! For the longest time he kept thinking there was something in our hands and had to open it!
- He loves to play "Hide n' Seek"! He gets the biggest kick out of it! Mom or dad will go hide and once he gets close we will jump out and scare him. He will laugh and then run away while we chase him. We are now teaching him to hide! He loves it!
- He loves it when daddy comes home! We sometimes will watch out the window to see him coming in his car. He will get so excited and start waving when he sees his car!!
- Caden has to have us wherever he is to play with him! Kind of annoying at times! He will come grab our finger and pull us to where he wants. He will then pat on the ground to tell us to sit!! haha silly boy! I just get annoyed when I am sitting literally like 2 feet away from where he is playing and he comes to grab my finger to pull me to sit even closer! Hopefully having this girl will help him not need be to be with him every second!!
- I just love This Boy!! he has such a tender heart and a fun personality! He is very shy to people he doesn't know! But once he feels comfortable he is a Ball of Fun!!

CADEN'S FIRST HAIR CUT! I Really didn't want to cut off all the curls! So sad, but you know it is time when you get people saying "Oh "SHE" is so cute!" He definitely is not a girl!! I don't think he even looks like a girl even when he had long curly hair!! haha oh well! it is still curly!
Caden loves working out with Mom! I am surprised how strong he is! He lifts those 3 lb. weights above his head pretty easily!
