The sun has been shining more and the trees are Finally starting to get leafs! I can't believe that in just about 3 more weeks we will be going to Colorado and then Caden and I will go spend about a month in Utah! It is a bitter sweet moment. I get to spend time with my family but I will also be away from Chris much too long!
Caden: 10 months old
- I have a tendency to want to treat him older, especially when he is with his 16 month old friend Sam. Life has been good to us.
- Chris's parents came and Caden Loved to play with grandma and grandpa! I too loved having them here! We love having family come visit!
- There were a few mornings in a row that Caden would wake up in the morning and I brought him into bed with us.....To our surprise he WENT BACK TO SLEEP!! He woke up at 7 am and slept another hour or so with us!! that is like 13 hours of sleep!!! We Loved it! I have tried several times since that and he wont do it again! Oh well, I will take what I can get! :)
- Caden is Cruising! He is so fast!! Let it begin...He is getting into EVERYTHING! He Loves getting into the kitchen cupboards and pulling everything out!
- He also loves the dishwasher and the fridge. Both of them I have to be quick to get things out before he gets into it!
- Competition time! Who will win? Caden pulling everything out of the Cupboards! OR can Mom get the dishes or dinner done before gets it all out!! It is a race, and believe me I try to go as fast as I can! Usually he wins, but sometimes I can tie with him!! haha At first caden had problems getting into the cupboards and drawers because he kept shutting them on his fingers. But finally he has figured it out!
- He loves to walk around while holding onto things.
- Sometimes he will beat me in the competition and then will pull himself up using my pants and then wants to be held by continuing to pull on the pants. Jeans are fine, but when I wear sweats or shorts this causes a problem!! Skirts are the worse, they slide right down!! haha Even Chris complains about this because Caden will pull Chris's leg hairs!! haha
- I have had to start keeping the bathroom door shut because he loves to go in there when we are in there and stands up holding on to the toilet!! EWW nasty! So when I am in there I will shut him out and it is so funny....I can hear him pounding on the door making noises. As of recently he will stand up and I can hear him reaching for the door nob!! Oh Boy!!
- He has making a lot of funny new noises. He will do this really high loud scream when he is just wanting attention. When something hurts him or something happens that he doesn't like, he will scrunch up his nose and make "oooh,oooh" sound. I think it is cute! He also has been making "BOB" sound! I am not sure what it means! He has been jibber jabbering lots! No idea what he is saying, so we just say "uh ha, yup, cool" haha.
- So funny when he yawns, he makes it really loud and dramatic!! haha just like him mom!!
- I love when he will give us kisses. He will lean forward with his mouth wide open while we get a big wet kiss!
- Saying "NO" is still frustrating. He just doesn't understand yet! Even the tone of my voice doesn't seem to bother him. But it gets really frustrating when he pulls my hair or tries to flip over while I am changing him. He is So strong!! Changing him is sometimes a two person job!
- He loves to have anything that I have: my phone, kindle, computer! My phone he especially likes. He will take it and crawl around while still holding it. My poor phone. I even tried giving him a old one, but he still likes mine better.
- I likes to read books. He will usually sit there for at least 5-10 min.! As of recently he has been enjoying to help turn the pages.
- Caden has been acting Shy around new people! It is so funny, when I am holding him and he meets someone new, he will duck his head into me. People he knows he is just fine and very social. Even really big crowds like stake conference he is fine. But sadly for my neighbor he just does not seem to like being around her. I feel so bad because she is the sweetest old lady that we go see at least once a week. But every time we go see her, he just gets shy. I try to stay there until he relaxes and gives her a smile!
- Random things are becoming for funny to him. The other day he thought it was so funny when Chris crumbled up a piece of paper and gave it to him and then took it away. He would just laugh so hard. Chris kept doing this for like 5-10 min with Caden just laughing and laughing!! Love it when they play together!
- He got another tooth!!! This makes 7!! This one was bad, it caused him to have diarrhea and he was really cranky! I think another one is coming soon too! Well, at least that is one more closer to being done!
When grandma and grandpa were here: He loves them and was having so much fun.
