December 13th. We celebrated our own Christmas eve. We had Caden open up a present that had new pjs inside. He mostly just enjoyed putting the paper in his mouth and playing with the Christmas lights! After we got him to bed, Chris and I had hot chocolate and watched a Christmas movie.
December 14. Our Christmas! I made a yummy breakfast quiche and then we opened our presents. The only maind gift we got Caden was a jumping seat that connects tot the door frame...He didn't seem to like it because our door frame is too narrow and he kept bonking into the sides. Chris and I mainly got each other clothes, puzzles, and football. We made cookies for our neighbors and one of our neighbors gave us something in return that really shocked us! He gave us a gift basket full of money and gift cards. He said that when we brought the cookies it put him in the spirit of giving!

December 20th-Jan 4th. Our Utah trip! We left at 5:30pm and got to SLC around 11pm. Caden did really well. He slept most of the way. We spent the first night at grandmas and the next day went to Meadow. The first couple of days we just relaxed and visited with family. Monday, my dad and I spent most of the day at the shop. He made me a nice, beautiful, simple wedding band! I love it! Tuesday we hung out with family and then went to the ward Christmas eve party. We had to leave early because Caden was getting tired. Christmas morning grandma made a yummy breakfast, we opened presents, then went out to Jenell's for the rest of the day. We mostly just hung out. Chris helped out with chores and took the boys sledding with the four wheeler. The next morning we drove up to Heath and Anika's. We hung out, played games, ate costa vida, and played 3 hours of volleyball! The next morning Chris and Heath got up early to play basketball and then went snow boarding! We got buffalo wild wings for when they got back for lunch. The following day we went back to grandmas to meet up with the rest of Chris's family. It was so fun to see everyone and have them all meet Caden! We did cousin gift exchanges and also got presents from Grandma and Grandpa Huntington. New Years Eve night around 5 was my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary! It was in Orem, so we hung out at Heath and Anika's house until the party started. Everyone was at the party except for Deric. It was so fun to see everyone! We ate food, hung out, watched a slide show of mom and dad, and then they gave us each a gift. Mom crocheted everyone a temple and baby doll bassinet and of course made peanut brittle. Super long trip with many late nights playing games but all so much fun!
